The Backstop Mobile application is a valuable tool for fund managers and investors who require stable connectivity during activities such as capital raising events or on-site meetings with potential partners. Designed with a clear understanding of the needs of its users, Backstop Mobile extends the functionality of the Web Application into a portable environment, enabling users to manage contacts and activities efficiently while on the move.

The application features a redesigned home screen labeled "My Activity," which provides a consolidated overview of recent and upcoming calls and meetings. This facilitates quick access to scheduling information and allows users to update notes immediately after meetings, streamlining preparation and follow-up processes. The "My Activity" section also displays recently viewed contacts, assisting users in reacquiring information on entities they have previously searched within the Web or Mobile App, thereby enhancing workflow continuity.

The user interface has been fully modernized to create a more intuitive and visually appealing experience, aligning closely with the Web App’s design. This redesign aims to improve usability by delivering information swiftly and reducing navigation complexity.

In terms of security, the Mobile App now incorporates advanced privacy controls, including the use of biometric authentication via Face ID or Touch ID for effortless access. Additionally, jailbreak detection features have been implemented to prevent unauthorized access by malicious third-party applications, ensuring that sensitive data remains protected.
